The words we speak are very important.  Matthew 12:37 states that by our words we are justified or condemed.  Simply stated the word declares that the individual determines their place in eternity, not God as many people think.  God has given everyone the right to reject or accept him.

 

Salvation comes to the individual when they believe with their heart and confess with their mouth the Lord Jesus and accept that Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

 

 

our words are used to express our thoughts and ideas as well as the things in our hearts.  We will be held accountable for the things that proceed out of our mouths. 

 

What things have you been saying, to God, to others, and to yourself.  We should strive as the Psalmist Dave wrote, "Let the words of my mouth and the mediations of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, oh Lord, my redeemer and my strength."
